Holiday Project: The Netherlands

We HAD to do a Dutch day, and we had some air dry clay (you can get it at Bunnings), so I thought the kids could make some Dutch row houses.  Our inspiration came from here and this picture here.

The clay took VERY long to dry – and it needs to do so at room temperature; S. L. O. W. L .Y so that it doesn’t split.  After they were sufficiently dried, they were given a few coats of teal acrylic.

ps.  Counting on my mum to tell me that I got the “kleine huizen” right….
