DSC_0513we made the little kid a teepee.

6 lengths of 2 by 4, three 22 mm diameter dowels, a heap of fabric from the stash, a drill and a good measure of rob n tash patience needed when not working with a pattern.

it turned out great, with a few more features than what I had originally envisioned – concealed pocket for the top rod, sides off the ground, and all it’s all able to be packed away in a neat roll.

it’s been used for naps on sunday and after school snacks.

the someone who loves it the most? the hound. he’s thinking it’s a pretty sweet summer abode.

cost all up? about sixty smackeroos.

ps. yes, photobombed by the hound on the last photo.  making the most of the bird bath filled with fresh water on a 36 deg Perth day.
