lovingly gifted to me, in a cooler bag, with a bag of feed flour, a long list of care notes and a thermo recipe.
today I started the process of making a loaf.
took some of the starter, added flour, water and salt and let Thermie do it’s thing.
after a quick knead, the dough is in the fridge, to rise overnight.
the starter was fed to keep the process happening and is now back in the fridge till the next time I want to make a loaf.
this will be a learning curve for me.
i subscribe to the jamie oliver cooking method most days. fast and fresh.
a lot of love goes into my cooking, but not a lot of forethought.
this is all about forethought.
lets hope it’s worth it.
