this is sew weekly {something new for 2013}

The plan is to get my sewing machine, overlocker or needle and thread out once a week.  No need to complete a project every week, but to make a conscious effort to sew.  Sew weekly.  So….. this is sew weekly. And you can follow along.  No pressure. There’s a few of my instagrammy pals interested in joining in, so it’s going to be fun to see what they come up with!  I’ll be posting a this is sew weekly post every Thursday. Starting Thursday 3 Jan 2013.

Now, every plan needs a few guidelines. Here they are.

1. Don’t feel pressured to join in every week.

2. Just link the sew weekly image to your post.  On Instagram or Twitter the hashtag is #thisissewweekly.

3. Remember guideline number 1.  This is supposed to be fun.

If you want a button for your blog – here it is with the code.

  1. Ooo.. I was just given a sewing machine yesterday so this seems very timely! I haven’t used one in twenty years so I’ll see how I go… but I hope I can join in!

  2. Fun, Tash! I didn’t know you were on ig. We moved right before Christmas and I have to unbury my sewing table out from the garage and need to get a cutting table, will be going to ikea this weekend to get one. Great ideas on IKEA Hackers blog! I’m really excited. This is the first time I’ve had a craft room!! Hope you have a great 2013, Tash! xoxo
